Labugama - Kalatuwawa Reservoir
Labugama – Kalatuwawa Forest Reserve is situated in Labugama in the Colombo district. The forest reserve is home to many wild animals including wild cats, deer, foxes, wild boar, wild hare and porcupines etc. The highest mountain in the Colombo district, Udagama Kanda standing at a height of 1492 feet above sea level, is mainly covered by the Labugama – Kalatuwawa Forest Reserve. The Labugama and Kalatuwawa reservoirs are also situated in this mountain range. A wide range of bird species can be found right here at the Labugama – Kalatuwawa Forest Reserve.
